In cooperation with the Swiss research institute CSEM (Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology) and the Alp ICT Cluster the Smart World Event in Fribourg, Switzerland, on October 3rd, 2013 was very successful.

It was the perfect place to learn more about future solutions and business models in the exciting growing markets of machine-to-machine communication, cloud computing and wearable technologies, mainly focusing on “Smart Energy – Smart Grid”. Experts of Ericsson, Swisscom, VARTA Microbattery, CSEM SA, Texas Instruments, EMPA, Sixsq, Sensaris as well as SportsCurve and Alp ICT gave valuable insights into their take of Smart Grid and Smart Energy.
