The Smart World Event at this year´s Innovative City Convention, the benchmark international event on the theme of smart cities, gave valuable insight into cutting-edge technologies and solutions that will revolutionize the city of tomorrow, presented by international experts and innovative companies all over the globe. The two day´ event was visited by 2.556 people.
Key players of Texas Instruments, Ericsson, Varta Microbattery, Alstom Grid and EuroCloud have presented and discussed the most promising smart city solutions in areas such as Energy, Security, Mobility, Healthcare and Connectivity.
Navispace has introduced the worldwide leading innovation competitions in machine-to-machine communications (M2M Challenge) and wearable technologies (WT Innovation World Cup) as well as the newly launched Cloud Innovation World Cup. QGate and Sensaris, former finalists, shared their knowledge by providing information about their unique solutions. The regional partners Team Côte d’Azur and Com4innov support companies in their daily activities and provided their knowledge within their presentations.
