Post-Surgery Recovery System by iDezo
M2M Patient Recovery – a small force sensor is placed in a sock the patient wears, this force signal is sent via wireless connection to an app on their smart phone. While in the doctor’s office, the app is calibrated under doctor supervision, and the app will then give a visual clue to the patient that they are putting enough force on their leg while walking. Historical data can be collected and sent via secure connection to the hospital for remote monitoring. This allows patients to look at their history to be sure they are recovering properly, and the doctor can monitor the history. This enables the doctor to see if patient is recovering correctly to optimize recovery. This information can also be used to reduce post-surgery visits to the hospital.
