This year, the “Oscars for Industrial IoT”, the finals of the 12th IOT Innovation World Cup®, took place for the first time at Hannover Messe Digital Edition on April 14, 2021. Microtronics, IoT pioneer and innovation leader from Austria, chose the winner of the rapidM2M Challenge there.
The finals of the rapidM2M Challenge took place during the exciting 12th IOT/WT Innovation World Cup® pitch and award ceremony at Hannover Messe Digital Edition on 14 April 2021.
The top3 ground-breaking IoT Innovators 2021 for the rapidM2M Challenge have been selected among over 600 contestants running in the 12th IOT/WT Innovation World Cup® (in alphabetical order):

The presentation of these innovative solutions on stage has been a tight race, concluding in the live evaluation of the jury dropping the curtain and crowning the winner: Nolta.
“Construction machines from major manufacturers nowadays are equipped with GPS trackers as standard. But what about small appliances, such as electric tools or pumps? With the NOLTAnet platform and smart plug we offer a manufacturer-independent, inexpensive possibility to locate and monitor devices and tools worldwide. We can integrate everything that has a plug. All you have to do is replace the existing power plug with a NOLTAnet CEE smart plug.” explained Felix Bonn, Managing Director of NOLTA.
Virtually handing over the trophy, Stefan Pfeffer, Co-founder and CFO of Microtronics stated: „This year the level of innovation presented by the competitors was really impressive.
