The ST Industrial Innovation Challenge, a special prize inside the 13th IoT Innovation World Cup® connects ST every year with hundreds of techpreneurs from all over the globe. Eligible submissions are also qualified for free development kits for industrial applications.
Here are the Top3 ST Industrial Innovators 2022 (in alphabetical order):
- Altered Carbon (UK) – Intelligent digitization of scent consists of multi-element digital scent receptors on a chip that detects a wide range of different compounds, and AI that enables the receptors to detect useful patterns of gas compounds namely digital fingerprints.
- Ladon Energy (Germany) – Ladon energy box optimizes energy flow by detecting the energetic fingerprint from one single point of installation and showing which appliance is turned on and how much energy is consumed without being attached to a dedicated device.
- Ligna Energy (Sweden) – Ligna S-Power are batteries from forest materials based on organic electronic polymers and biopolymers, which are used throughout the lifetime of the energy storage and then recycled and burned as biofuel.
The Top3 ST Industrial Innovators 2022 will pitch their solutions live in front of the expert jury in the official pitch & award ceremony at HANNOVER MESSE (Hanover), the world’s leading fair for industrial transformation with 6.500 exhibitors and 200.000 visitors, on 1 June 2022, 16:00 – 18:00 CET.
The winner of the ST Industrial Innovation Challenge will get the chance to collaborate with ST on jointly scaling up and customer projects, speaking slots at worldwide prominent tech events, free marketing packages, placement on the Innovation World Cup Hall of Fame, and many more.
