ST Industrial Innovation Challenge is a special prize of STMicroelectronics to award the most revolutionary solution in the Industrial sector.
Here are the Top3 ST Industrial Innovators 2022 who made it in the finals at HANNOVER MESSE, the world’s leading fair in industrial transformation, on Wednesday, 1 June, 16:00 – 18:00 CET:
- Altered Carbon (UK) – Intelligent digitization of scent
- Ladon Energy (Germany) – Ladon energy box optimizes energy flow
- Ligna Energy (Sweden) – Ligna S-Power – Batteries from forest materials
Based on the level of innovation, commercial potential, go-to-market approach and sustainability, the ST jury announced Altered Carbon (UK) as the winner of the ST Industrial Innovation Challenge 2022.
Altered Carbon develops the “Intelligent digitization of scent”, which consists of multi-element digital scent receptors on a chip that detects a wide range of different compounds, and AI that enables the receptors to detect useful patterns of gas compounds namely digital fingerprints.
